Tabata is always a great choice when you need some cardio. What is tabata? Tabata is a form of high-intensity physical training in which very short periods of extremely demanding activity are alternated with shorter periods of rest, typically over a period of four minutes. Try to push as hard as you can during the 20 Sec of work. It doesn't work unless you work! Set a fitness app to: 20 sec Work/10 sec Rest/8 Cycles. This is one Tabata. (4 min) For this workout you'll alter two moves per Tabata. Rest 30-60 seconds after each Tabata is complete. If you have time try to do this two times. T1: Burpees + Mountain CLIMBERS T2: Squat Jacks + In/Out ABS T3: High Knee Runs + Push-ups T4: Plyo Lunge + Bear Crawl Hold Shoulder Taps Modify any of the moves. Intensity doesn't come from the impact of an exercise, it comes from executing the movement with great form and then pushing to your best ability. How do you modify? If you need to take the jump out of the burpees. Do Push-ups on your knees, etc. Have fun! xx
